AI & ChatGPT Plugin Policy

1. Breadcrumb: AI-Drafted Replies

• Breadcrumb sends the text of a review, its rating, and the business name to AI model providers to draft a reply and classify sentiment.
• Drafts are suggestions. You review, edit, and approve a reply before it is posted to your Google Business Profile.
• AI can be wrong or miss context. You are responsible for the replies you publish.

2. CrumbPass Plugin for ChatGPT

The plugin connects ChatGPT to your CrumbPass owner account so you can view and change the menu of one restaurant.

• Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. We never see your ChatGPT password.
• Permissions: menu:read to view the menu and menu:write to add, update, import, or delete categories and items.
• Scope: you pick one restaurant during consent. Tokens only work for that restaurant.
• Destructive actions: deleting items or categories, or clearing the entire menu, are permanent. Clearing the menu requires explicit confirmation. Review what ChatGPT proposes before approving.
• Lifetimes: authorization codes expire after 5 minutes and access tokens after 30 days, or sooner if you revoke them.

3. Data Used

The plugin processes your account identity, restaurant membership, the selected restaurant, menu categories and items, and OAuth connection records. We do not receive your ChatGPT conversations beyond the specific tool requests ChatGPT sends to us, and we do not use plugin data to train AI models or to profile you.

4. Third Parties

ChatGPT is provided by OpenAI, and your use of it is covered by OpenAI’s own terms and privacy policy. Breadcrumb uses third-party AI model providers to generate drafts. We share only what is needed for the task and do not sell it.

5. Your Controls

• Cancel on the consent screen before connecting.
• Disconnect the plugin in your CrumbPass owner settings or in ChatGPT at any time.
• Ask us to delete your data at our data deletion page.

6. Acceptable Use

Use the plugin only for restaurants you own or are authorized to manage. Do not try to access other restaurants’ data, bypass scopes, overload the service, or use it to publish unlawful, misleading, or infringing content.
